Welcome to New River Brewing, the go-to destination for mouth watering wings, burgers, and craft brews in Ashe County, NC. Discover a unique blend of flavors in a rustic setting that captures the essence of our local community.

Growth was a challenge, as an unknown brewery trying to wrestle away tap space from larger established breweries. We appreciate the restaurants and bars that took a chance on us and helped to fuel our growth. Remarkably, as a neophyte commercial brewer, Adam won a North Carolina Brewer's Cup Medal in 2018 and this proved to be a significant turning point. We opened our smokehouse and eatery in 2019 and opened the taproom/brewery in 2021. We are committed to bringing the best craft beers and pub food to our New River Brewing Community. Join us!
